Your apprenticeship at KUKA
A good apprenticeship is essential for high-quality work. Our training center built in 2020 has been designed in line with the latest technical standards. The training rooms are equipped with brand-new welding equipment, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, PLC systems and much else besides. We provide lightning-fast notebook computers and iPads for use in training operations.
During your apprenticeship at KUKA, you will be supported by experienced trainers. They will help you with preparing the teaching materials in the in-house works college. And being offered a job with us at the end is not the exception, but the rule.
And what’s more: an apprenticeship at KUKA should be fun – away from work as well. Our training center offers its own common room with table football, a basketball hoop and a Nintendo switch.
Foreign placement as a highlight of the apprenticeship
Those who achieve above-average results in their apprenticeship at KUKA will be offered a particular opportunity: for apprentices who show great commitment, we offer the opportunity of a foreign placement for several weeks.
Location and duration of the foreign placement
For those doing their apprenticeship in Augsburg, the foreign placement takes place in the second or third year of the apprenticeship – for example at a KUKA subsidiary in Belgium or Hungary, China or the USA. For between four and six weeks, not only will you experience working at another site, but also a foreign country, its people and a new culture.
Students in Bremen get a chance to travel, too. You will experience exciting missions abroad, when going on assembly directly at our international customers' sites.
