Modern training center for the headquarter in Augsburg

Our new training center was opened at the beginning of September 2020 and has since been available for the training and further education of our apprentices, students and employees.

A place of education for all

The new building at the Zugspitzstraße unites on about 8000 m² in a modern concept all areas that deal with the topics education and training as well as personel development. By centralizing on a common learning location and the joint use of synergies, we are able to offer our trainees, dual students and employees a large and efficient learning portfolio. This allows you to complete your training and then benefit from the large number of further training courses and (college) seminars - all centrally in one place.

The new training center is located on the KUKA factory premises and is easily accessible from all directions by public transport (stop: KUKA/Partnachweg).

The training center has created forward-looking conditions for a modern teaching and learning operation. The modern building has everything that a future-oriented educational institution needs. Equipped with a variety of modern and barrier-free seminar and meeting rooms on two floors, the new building offers sufficient space and thus the best conditions for successful teaching and learning. Top class training center

The workshop of the training center has a completely new and networked machinery and thus enables training at the highest level. All workbenches are also equipped with modern tablet PCs so that trainees and dual students can access their teaching materials and the internal learning system at any time. Innovation is a top priority at KUKA - also in training!

In special rooms, such as the electrical room and the pneumatic and hydraulic room, the apprentices and dual students are taught all the basic industrial skills required for their apprenticeship, before the future specialists can demonstrate their skills in the halls. A special highlight is also the IT/PLC and innovation room. Here, trainees and students can realize themselves, explore the latest technologies independently and use them for projects. The new education center also offers space for recreation and numerous activities to organize the break. A common room invites you to relax, while the large lounge allows for a leisurely lunch and exchange with others. In our own games room there is also the possibility to play foosball or darts together.

Further education at the highest level

With its seminar rooms, the new building also offers plenty of space for the further education of KUKA employees. Modern and versatile room concepts were used to create a positive learning environment. The rooms are equipped with variable seating options that can be adapted to different group sizes at any time. Ultra-modern interactive whiteboards complete the innovative equipment.

Continuing education and continuous learning are a top priority at KUKA! This is why we offer numerous seminars within the framework of the KUKA Academy to enhance technical and interdisciplinary skills. We provide our management with customized training courses as part of the Leadership Program. Special programs for promoting talent and mentoring programs round off the wide range of offerings.
