Thesis at KUKA

KUKA offers theses in various company departments and at different sites. In the course of your thesis, you pick up valuable practical experience even while you are studying. At KUKA, you get to know a leading company in the field of Industrie 4.0 and have the opportunity to demonstrate your abilities in working life. You will receive intensive support from the responsible specialist department the entire time.

You have two options for finding a topic:

1. You can opt for one of the topics we have advertised. All of the current topics can be found on the online job exchange.

2. Alternatively, you can suggest your own thesis subject or topic area.

• You will work on a current topic in the field of Industrie 4.0 that matches your profile and study program

• You will gain direct insights into the world of automation

• You will learn about interdisciplinary structures in an international organization

• You will have the opportunity to develop your skills further in working with project colleagues and managers, as well as customers and suppliers

• You will promote your communication skills and ability to work in a team

• Enthusiasm and passion for topics linked to the thesis topic

• Enjoyment of working with other people in a multicultural/international setting

• Desire to work both independently and as part of a team

• Customer focus and strong communication skills

• Interest in exchanging knowledge and ideas as well as learning new things

• Flexibility and creativity

• Ideally, your thesis will start at the beginning of a semester

• A previous internship?is desirable, but not a precondition for a Bachelor’s or Master’s thesis at KUKA

• The duration of the thesis is determined by your study regulations

• You will receive attractive remuneration for your thesis

• The precondition for a thesis with us is that you are registered as a student at a university or university of applied sciences
